Across Louisiana, there is something exciting about welcoming a brand-new season, especially fall. As families switch out the bright floral décor of summer for earth tones and pumpkins, we all settle into new rhythms: packing school lunches catching the bus, watching college football from TV screens, and anticipating the return of cooler temperatures as we quickly head to year-end. YOGI BEAR™ has had a wonderful summer at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ with all his favorite campers. From Super Soaker weekends to holiday celebrations, the festivities were a blast—Yogi Bear™ loved seeing families spending time together in the great outdoors. While summer may be winding down, September is rapidly approaching, and with it, another fun season for camping: fall! With the arrival of fall comes the return of Tigers’ football and the Saints regular season! The best time of the year is in full swing here in Robert, Louisiana, and Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ is no exception! Across the state, although the kids are out of school for the whole summer; they don’t have to stop learning! In fact, it is important for every child to grow knowledge and keep reading throughout the summer to prevent “summer slide.” While July and August are great times to relax and play outdoors, there are a variety of fun ways for outside learning, while at the same time, incorporating every kid’s passion for camping. The next four weekends in July are filled with excitement!

YOGI BEAR™ is already looking forward to July in Robert, Louisiana. Here at the campgrounds, not only will there be Family Night at the pool deck and a DJ every Thursday of July, but there will also be a Rec Center Party and DJ every Sunday of July! There is nothing like camping out in the summer months; the beauty of the warm nights and the excitement of day and evening activities make the outdoors the best place to be right through Labor Day!

June has arrived bringing summer vacation, more hours of daylight, and climbing temperatures. Super Soaker Blasting Weekend is coming up this weekend, and we’ll celebrate Father’s Day at the campgrounds next weekend!
