Join Us at YOGI BEAR’S™ Cochon de Lait Weekend: March 7-9, 2014
Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and his furry friends have been doing a lot of planning for the 2014 season while in hibernation at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park . We know that you and the family want the best camping experience ever. This is the year! Our Cochon de Lait weekend is coming up and it will be full of fun and action. This fun filled weekend is Friday March 7 through Sunday March 9. In conjunction with this three day event, we believe in helping others and giving back. We know every single one of our camping friends does too. Yogi wants everybody to help The American Cancer Society in Sterry Cressionie's name. If you donate $6.00 at the Ranger Station, you'll get a free ticket to the Cochon de Lait Pig Roast Dinner that Saturday night! Enjoy this fantastic Yogi Bear approved feast consisting of pork roast, dirty rice, yams, cole slaw and dinner roll. Make your reservation now and bring your canned foods to the Ranger Station before noon on Saturday to receive your free pig dinner ticket. During this entire weekend, we will offer daily flag raising ceremonies that will remind everyone about our freedom and how wonderful America is every single day.
- Friday’s (March 7th) activities include Spin Art, T-Shirt Coloring, a S’more Roast, and even a cool Glow Stick Hike!
- Saturday (March 8th) features a Horseshoe Pitch, Relay Races, Arts and Crafts, Ceramics, BINGO, and Flag Football. Of course the highlight of the whole weekend is the awesome pig roast dinner; it will be so much fun! Make sure to find time to listen to the “Band” at the Yogi Dome just after dinner! Concessions will be sold.
- Finally, after Sunday’s (March 9th) flag raising, look for Hayrides, Miniature Golf, a Tea party with Cindy Bear, and even four on four Basketball. Remember campers, there are so many more activities; we just can’t list them all.
This weekend will certainly get your mouth watering and your excitement going! Call 985-542-1507 to make your reservations today! This is the weekend you just have to come to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park for a “beary” good time with food, fun, and friends!
